Minneapolis-St. Paul brownfield sites to receive funding for asbestos cleanup
Several Minneapolis-St. Pail sites will receive brownfield funding for cleanup of asbestos and other hazardous substances. The Met Council approved almost $4 million for 9 brownfield redevelopment projects in the Twin Cities area to redevelop or reuse land that has been contaminated with asbestos or other hazardous materials. Death rates from mesothelioma on the rise in Australia and around the world
One in fifteen retired carpenters in Australia and the UK will perish from mesothelioma, predicts cancer expert Professor Julian Peto, Head of the Cancer Research UK Epidemiology and Genetics Group, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. New asbestos research group founded in Brisbane, Australia to improve treatment for mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases

New York clinical trial beginning for mesothelioma patients
A new clinical trial is underway for victims of mesothelioma.
