Echocardiogram
Physicians may use an Echocardiogram to discover whether any cancer that is found has invaded the area of the heart. Many patients may already be familiar with echocardiography because it is commonly used to determine the presence of heart disease. An Echocardiogram uses sound waves that are too high in frequency to be heard by the human ear to give physicians a picture of the heart muscle, its size and shape, its pumping strength, and the location and extent of any heart damage.
