About the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center:
The world’s oldest and largest private cancer center, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) has devoted more than a century to patient care as well as to innovative research, making significant contributions to new and better therapies for the treatment of cancer.
We have developed a network of community-based state-of-the-art outpatient cancer treatment facilities that bring our expert care closer to patients living throughout our geographical area, including Long Island, Westchester County, and New Jersey. Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center’s main campus and inpatient hospital is located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
At Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, we are committed to enhancing both the length and the quality of life of people who have mesothelioma. Having pioneered a number of new treatments for mesothelioma, Memorial Sloan-Kettering is one of the leading centers in the US for the treatment of the disease. We have also established the nation’s largest database of mesothelioma patients whose treatment and progress we continuously track and analyze.
Patients can receive outpatient radiotherapy, chemotherapy, surgical consultation, and dermatologic services in communities neighboring Manhattan. Additional services offered at some of the regional sites include diagnostic imaging, integrative medicine programs, psycho-social support, and neurology consultations. Patients at the regional sites also have access to many of the clinical trials offered at the main campus.
