About the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center:
Our Center is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of specialists including radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, surgeons, physicists, radiologists, interventional radiologists, endoscopists, pathologists, specialized nursing staff, dietitians, physical therapists, and social workers who use a patient-focused approach to deliver the most effective treatment for each patient.
Our services are delivered with the care and compassion you would expect from two organizations that have been consistently ranked with America’s best hospitals by U.S.News & World Report® and as top providers of cancer care in the country.
International Mesothelioma Program – Founded by David J. Sugarbaker, MD, the International Mesothelioma Program (IMP) encompasses both a clinical program and a research program. Our clinical focus is on developing treatment strategies that can significantly extend the life of our patients. Our research focus involves a collaboration of basic, translational, and clinical research scientists whose aim is to understand the causative factors in the development of the disease and to translate these findings into improved therapy.
