Mesothelioma lawyer wins prestigious Harry Philo award
The American Association for Justice (AAJ) recently presented Russell W. Budd, of law firm Baron & Budd, P.C., with the prestigious Harry M. Philo Award Trial Lawyer of the Year Award. Mr. Budd accepted the award on July 13, 2010 at the AAJ annual conference in Vancouver, BC.
Baron & Budd specializes in toxic tort reform, representing the rights of people harmed by exposure to toxic materials like asbestos. The law firm has pledged to provide $3 million over a five year period to the International Pleural Mesothelioma Program at Brigham Women’s Hospital to fund mesothelioma therapy research, and gives generously to several other asbestos awareness advocacy organizations.
