U.S. Navy veteran dies of asbestos disease at age 71
Albert H. Buster died on July 6, 2010 from mesothelioma following exposure to asbestos that occurred decades ago. Albert was a retired U.S. Navy veteran and remained active with Disabled American Veterans (DAV). He was also active in the community as a member of Ebenezer A.M.E., holding positions as a trustee, usher, and assistant Sunday school superintendent, and a member of the United Christian Church Ushers Association.
Albert is survived by his wife Beverly, three children, Albert II, Anitra, and Beverly Alberta, and two grandchildren, Chiarra and Johnnie.
