TomoTherapy symposium held for cancer treatment providers in Europe and the Middle East
TomoTherapy Incorporated, a company that manufactures cancer care radiation therapy solutions, hosted the second of three regional conferences from May 6-8. The 2010 EMEA User Symposium was held in Marbella, Spain. The three symposiums were scheduled to cover users in different parts of the world. The first event took place on held April 15-17, in San Diego, California. The third and final event is scheduled in Incheon, Korea for October 2-3.
The focus of the symposium was the use of TomoTherapy for cancer care, and featured speakers, interactive treatment planning workshops and showcased treatment options for head and neck, brain, lung, colorectal, prostate and gynecological cancers.
