Cancer pain drug Onsolis approved for use in Canada
Canadian cancer patients, including those with mesothelioma, will soon have another drug that can be used to treat their cancer pain. Onsolis, a drug designed to treat cancer pain, has been approved for sale in Canada. The medication, manufactured by BioDelivery Sciences International Inc., has already been approved for use in the United States. Meda Valeant Pharma Canada Inc. will market it in Canada by the end of the year.
