ADAO presents Tribute of Hope award to U.S. Senator Richard Durbin
Senator Richard Durbin was honored during the first week of April at the 6th Annual Asbestos Awareness Conference sponsored by the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) for his support and protection of asbestos victims and their families. Senator Durbin accepted the Tribute of Hope award during a weekend of activities and events designed to raise awareness of the dangers of asbestos and to reach out to people at risk.
The award was presented on Saturday, April 10, at the Marriott Renaissance Chicago Hotel in Chicago, Illinois with more than 100 people in attendance, including health care professionals, scientists, and families directly affected.
