$200k grant helps Limitless Vistas train New Orleans youth for green jobs
With the help of a $200,000 grant from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Limitless Vistas is all set to begin a 15-week training course for students in green initiatives. The program, which includes training for hazardous wastes, asbestos and mold abatement, will teach students to help create the green environment of the future by addressing the rebuilding needs of today’s homeowners.
Program founder, geologist Patrick Barnes, hopes to give the students the opportunity to be at the forefront of a growing movement that will benefit not only the students, but the community and the world.
