No evidence of Denver Water buried asbestos
After former Denver Water workers claimed that they had allegedly been instructed to bury asbestos waste at a water treatment facility 20 years ago, Colorado health officials have found no evidence that this had occurred. The Denver Water property was examined for evidence, but the only thing they discovered was a cement-asbestos pipe in a storage area that did not pose a health risk. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is preparing a report of their findings.
