Ocala City Council heads back to City Hall
Ocala City Council in Florida had been forced to meet outside of City Hall after mold was discovered in September 2009. Sunrise Environmental was hired to remediate the mold and asbestos from the building. New carpeting and a new ceiling were installed, along with a new air handler and ductwork. This work totaled nearly $70,000.
The City Council was able to return to City Hall for its March 2 meeting. Elevator work will take place next from April 5 until April 28. The nearly $80,000 elevator project will be completed by Thyssenkrupp Elevator.
