Lex Villa torn down to make way for Carroll County justice center

The Lex Villa Building in Carrollton, Georgia had its asbestos abatement completed by Pyramid Remedial Services on January 12. After that, Carroll County work crews began clearing glass and other salvageable materials from the building before demolition could start. Using county workers to perform the demolition helped to keep the costs down.

The building had to come down to make way for the Carroll County justice center project. The Courtyard Square Building was demolished last year to make way for the future justice center’s parking garage.
