5 Baron & Budd attorneys named to Super Lawyers list

Every year, the Texas Edition of Law & Politics publishes listings of Super Lawyers and Rising Stars. Super Lawyers recognizes the top 5% of Texas attorneys. Rising Stars recognizes accomplished Texas attorneys under the age of 40. This fall, five attorneys from Baron & Budd, P.C. were named to the Super Lawyers list: Russell W. Budd, Brent Rosenthal, Scott Summy, Bruce Steckler and Jan Soifer. Additionally, two attorneys from Baron & Budd made the 2009 Rising Stars list: Denyse Clancy and Renee Melançon.

Both of these lists honor outstanding Texas attorneys in over 70 different areas of practice. Peer nominations begin the process before the research editors evaluate each nominee based on 12 achievement indicators and an investigation into the attorney’s ethics record. Each of the Baron & Budd attorneys who were recognized this year have already been recognized by Law & Politics previously. Three of the attorneys – Russell Budd, Brent Rosenthal and Scott Summy – have been recognized every year since the first Texas edition was published in 2003.
