University of Miami will treat patients with pain therapy medical device
Competitive Technologies, Inc. has announced that the University of Miami Pain Management Center will now be using its pain therapy medical device for their patients. The device provides non-invasive pain therapy without any of the harmful side effects of narcotic painkillers. The device has been approved by both the European Union and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to provide rapid treatment of intense cancer pain and neuropathic pain, including pain that is resistant to treatment by morphine and other medications. The pain therapy medical device has successfully treated dozens of patients in the United States and thousands of patients in Europe, a great innovation in palliative care around the world.
