Rochester firm offers asbestos abatement training at a discounted price
An environmental safety firm in Rochester, New York – Cornerstone Training Institute – is offering special bundle pricing for individuals who want job training in the asbestos removal industry. Demand for trained asbestos removal contractors has increased due to recent, extensive demolition and architectural projects in the area.
Cornerstone Training Institute wants to help local contractors meet the local demand by offering a special discount on Asbestos Handler Initial and OSHA Construction Safety training. The training bundle provides contractors with a 10-hour OSHA card, a 32-hour asbestos certification, a half face air purifying respirator, all New York State forms and processing fees, and an asbestos medical exam that includes a respiratory physical, chest X-ray and respiratory fit test.
The training bundle is being offered for $495 instead of the normal $895 for the first 24 registrants, a deal made possible by an exclusive government training grant. Asbestos removal job opportunities like the upcoming Midtown Plaza project will offer high paying jobs at $30 per hour and up.
