American Cancer Society holds Bark for Life event in Illinois
On August 16, the American Cancer Society held a Bark for Life event in Libertyville, Illinois. The Bark for Life event is a group dog walk promoting cancer awareness and raising money for the American Cancer Society. Bark for Life honors dogs as Canine Caregivers. Canine Caregivers serve as companions, guide dogs, rescue dogs, service dogs, police dogs, therapy dogs, diagnostic dogs and cancer survivor dogs. The Canine Caregivers and their owners joined the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life teams for the fundraising event.
