New Jersey city council unanimously approves asbestos removal ordinance
The Trenton City Council voted 7-0 to approve an ordinance to hire Forefront Environmental Services for asbestos removal in a city demolition project. There are 13 properties that will be involved in the first round of work. Once the asbestos has been abated from each of the properties, they will be bid out for demolition work. The property owners include a flower shop, Hodge Presbyterian Church and several individuals.
