Mesothelioma victim’s life honored at gathering
Grief can be a potent motivator for action, and the families of mesothelioma victims are a powerful force to raise awareness about the disease. Ann Parkinson, the partner of mesothelioma victim Mick Keogh recently held a gathering to celebrate his life and raise awareness about mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases. Keogh, 60, developed mesothelioma 30 years after exposure to asbestos, which causes mesothelioma and other diseases.
Ms. Parkinson’s celebration of Mr. Keogh’s life is also intended to launch her crusade against the disease that caused his death.
