Mesothelioma charity to hold fund raiser

The Harry and Stephen Gray Mesothelioma Snowdrop Memorial Fund will hold a fund raiser to commemorate the second anniversary of Stephen Gray’s death from the asbestos-related disease. Harry and Stephen Gray were a father and son who both died of mesothelioma due to their occupational exposure to asbestos. Harry, the father, died of mesothelioma six years ago after a exposure to asbestos as a lagger in the shipping industry. Stephen, his son, died after working in power stations throughout his career. Stephen left a fiancee and two small children. The memorial fund was set up by the Gray family to honor the memories of these men, raise money for mesothelioma research, and raise awareness about the disease and the hazards of asbestos in the industrial community where they live.
