Mesothelioma widow finally compensated for husband’s asbestos disease

Eight years after losing her husband to mesothelioma, Maureen Whitworth of Tameside, UK has finally received compensation for her husband’s asbestos-related death. John Whitley died at age 66 from the disease. He was exposed to asbestos by cutting asbestos sheets at his place of work, a building materials supplier. The employer’s insurers have finally accepted liability after a long legal battle.
