Guy Hylton, Elk City, Okla. City manager finally resigns
One year after being sentenced to prison time for negligently endangering state inmates by exposing them to asbestos, and not long after the conviction and sentence was upheld by the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, Elk City, Okla. city manager Guy Hylton has submitted his resignation, which will become effective February 16th.
Hylton, along with city supervisor Chuck Little, had state inmates work inside an asbestos-filled railroad depot. Both were convicted; Hylton was sentenced to serve six months in prison, and Little was sentenced to serve eight months.
