EPA has finished clean up of former tire refurbishing plant in Buffalo, New York

After five months of removing tires and asbestos piping from the site of a former tire refurbishing plant on Buffalo’s Walden Avenue, the Environmental Protection Agency has announced that the clean up is done. Clean up costs reached a half million dollars. This summer, officials will come back to remove three underground storage tanks from the property.
