Asbestos removal underway in development of Johnston, Pennsylvania’s first “green” building
CJL Engineering, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, is moving into the former Team Chevrolet showroom in the Hornerstown neighborhood. The renovated building will be the city’s first to receive a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification, identifying it as a “green” building. Asbestos removal is the first step in reclaiming the old industrial space, and the renovation is expected to be complete by November.
