The sentencing hearing of John Chick, who pleaded guilty in January 2007 for his role in illegal asbestos removal from a Cayuga County building in 2006, has been postponed yet again, this time because the judge in charge of his case is sick and cannot preside over the hearing. The hearing, which was scheduled for February 20th, has been reset for March 6th. Chick remained on the Cayuga County payroll as a suspended employee for a year after his guilty plea, but he was finally terminated on January 25th of this year.
