Asbestos victims group launches online library on mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases

The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO), a volunteer organization founded by asbestos victims and their families, has launched a free online video library (the Asbestos Video Library or AVL) to promote education concerning asbestos-related diseases, treatment options and developments, asbestos exposure sources and exposure prevention methods. It will also allow patients and healthcare professionals with a forum to interact to share information and support and will direct asbestos victims to physicians who specialize in treatment of asbestos-related diseases. ADAO Executive Director Linda Reinstein, whose husband died of mesothelioma, a rare form of cancer caused by asbestos exposure, says, “Asbestos education will save lives.” The free Asbestos Video Library can be accessed online at www.asbestosdiseaseawareness.org.
