Chuck Strahl, Canada’s agriculture minister, spoke Saturday, March 24, 2007 at a symposium on malignant mesothelioma held at the British Columbia Cancer Research Center. Strahl, who was diagnosed with malignant mesothelioma in 2005, told medical professionals attending the conference that providing hope to mesothelioma patients was one of the best ways to help them.
