A computer containing the personal data of approximately 38,000 cancer patients receiving treatment through hospitals affiliated with Emory University has been stolen, according to officials with the University. Patients who have received treatment at Emory University Hospital, Emory Crawford Long Hospital and Grady Memorial Hospital are advised by university officials to put fraud alerts on their credit reports. The stolen information includes patients names, addresses, social security numbers and medical treatment information.
